PAID tutoring for Math Majors, Minors or ...
Every semester the Elon University Mathematics Department distributes a list of qualified K-12 mathematics tutors to the University Tutoring Services and surrounding public and private schools. The amount of payment for tutoring is to be mutually agreed upon by the Elon tutor and the parent/guardian of the student.
To be included on this list a student must be a mathematics major, minor, or currently enrolled in MTH 210, or completed MTH 210. The student must also attend the half-hour training session on private tutoring Thursday September 3, 2009 from 4:00-4:30 pm in the Tutoring Center outside Room 122 in Belk Library. If a student has already participated in one of the past training sessions and wishes to be included on this list, call Laurin Kier at extension 6515. If a student is interested in participating but cannot attend the training session, please have the student e-mail Laurin Kier THIS WEEK at lkier@elon.edu or call at x6515.
